WIMBERG LAWN CARE

MOWING

We offer weekly and biweekly mowing scheduling including mowing, edging, and blowing walks, driveways and patios. The crew will always leave a note detailing the service provided along with any notes concerning the property condition.

Services are billed monthly with prepayment options available on contract renewals.

Fertilization and Weed Control

Proper fertilization is a science. We can evaluate your lawn to determine its fertilization requirements, taking into consideration the surrounding conditions, grass type, and other factors. Fertilization can significantly improve the appearance and overall health of your lawn.

Weeds are not only unsightly, but they can impede the health of your entire landscape. Our technicians are trained and licensed to apply the correct products to your lawn while ensuring all rules, regulations, and safety measures are followed. Our weed control services can help you determine the right plan of action to keep your lawn healthy all season long.

Services are billed monthly with prepayment options available on contract renewals.

Lawn Renovation

We use seed or sod that is appropriate for our climate – primarily deep-rooted fescue blends since they can withstand our fickle rain-fall and stay green during periods of droughts. We now offer Hydro-Seeding. This eliminates the need for straw and is much less costly than sod while providing very fast germination.

Tip: The key to any successful lawn renovation is proper watering. Please remember that sod needs long soakings to encourage the roots to reach into the soil while seed needs frequent light watering until the seed germinates.

Aeration

Lawn aeration can take place on a once or twice per year basis, with service occurring in either spring or fall. Aeration redistributes topsoil and allows water and fertilizer to reach the roots more efficiently.

Tip: Given the heavy clay soils throughout Greater Cincinnati, aeration is highly recommended.

Grub Control

Grubs emerge at different times from May through October, so just one application of an insecticide may be inadequate.

Grub control is offered at an additional cost on your proposal.

We are in contact with the Ohio County Extension Service on a regular basis so that we are aware of emerging grub populations and any other insect or disease problems in our area of Ohio. As required by law, we employ Ohio Department of Agriculture Certified Applicators.
