There’s cause for celebration at Wimberg Landscaping: we’re celebrating 40 years in business. “It seems like it wasn’t that long ago when I was drumming up clients, designing landscapes and organizing our crews along with the day-to-day tasks of launching this company,” reflects President and Founder, Peter Wimberg. “My brother, John has been here from the beginning, as well. We’ve grown from a handful of employees to a substantial team of 50 employees. Where I was once making the house calls we now have a team of sales representatives and designers.”
Since its inception, growth has been constant at Wimberg Landscaping. Once a small footprint along Kellogg Ave, a place for a handful of trucks and employees: a growing client list necessitated a move to the current location in Madisonville. After 20 years at our Madisonville location, Wimberg has reached capacity, and will soon set up shop in the new location on Route 50.
“Simply accommodating the equipment to meet our expanding mowing clientele list has become a challenge, to say nothing about the maintenance, installation teams and their equipment and plants and materials,” shares Vice President, John Wimberg. “Those early years could be so daunting at times that you couldn’t really look 20 or 30 years into the future and imagine where we’d be now. But as our hard work and the hard work of our employees has proven, we did find success and a wonderful client base we are honored to serve.”
One reason for Wimberg’s continued expansion is that we offer our clients an entire array of landscaping services from design to installation, maintenance and everything in between. The services are offered a la carte, so anyone can request our assistance in caring for their landscape: no matter how little or how much work they desire.
